QUALIFICATIONS
Grade 12
End-User Computing / Relevant.
REQUIREMENTS
- 3 years’ experience understanding the transport industry.
- Understanding fuel tankers and tautliners.
- Cross Border experience.
- Must be from Kinross and the surrounding areas.
- Must own drivers license.
JOB BRIEF
- Implement and manage strategic fleet plans to ensure that the fleet is utilised optimally
- Direct and coordinate activities of company’s Fleet on planned routes.
- Ensure compliance of fleet to the planned routes.
- Cross border administration, necessary permits for crossing to different borders.
- Live tracking reporting of fleet per routes.
- Monitoring OBC Systems.
- Capturing in-house systems.
- Relieving Controllers.
- Brief and debrief drivers.
- Understanding fuel consumption.
- Handle breakdowns to Workshop.
- Shift work and over weekends.
