Cars will not be allowed to drive in for the safety and convenience of the public. Amenities such as playing equipment for kids, braai areas, tables and benches for relaxation and picnicking are to be put in place.
The barricading of the park was since put on hold because of the substandard material used, and replacements will soon be made.
