A heavy thunderstorm has caused localised flooding in some parts of Lydenburg town.
Motorists driving in or through the town are advised to exercise extra caution as roads are flooded, and some bridges are submerged in water.
Motorists are urged not drive over flooded roads as this might damage their vehicles and also pose a threat to their safety and that of other road users.
